Pros and Cons between the two kinds of charcoal making technologies

In the charcoal market, there are a lot of different kinds of charcoal products, which are produced from various biomass materials, such as wood sawdust, bamboo powders, stalks, peanut shells, rice husks, even coal, etc. About the carbonization ways, some people use traditional carbonizing kiln, and some people adopt fire-proof bricks and steel furnace, and some use tunnel kiln. In recent years, lifting type carbonization furnace and continuous carbonization furnace are popular, which are developed and have higher efficiency than the traditional ones. Regard to the production process, there are two types, one is forming first, then carbonizing. The second is carbonizing first, then forming. Here we mainly talk about the differences of this two processes.

For making charcoal briquettes, no matter which process we adopt, the forming principle just has a slight difference. However, the charcoal quality and the production cost are the investors’ main concerns.
1. First forming-then carbonizing process: that is also called traditional way of making charcoal. The first step is to prepare the raw materials, commonly the sawdust or bamboo are the best choice. If that is wood logs or trunks as raw materials, those kinds of materials need to be crushed first, then dryed and finally can be compressed. After that, the finished briquettes will be carbonized through carbonizing process to get charcoal briquettes. which

2. Frist carbonizing-then forming process: the process is easier than the first one. First, no matter which kind of materials users adopt, powder shape, wood logs, or wood chips, all of these should be carbonized first, then use the crusher to process them into powders, finally the charcoal powders will be formed into briquettes to get finished product-charcoal briquettes. As the charcoal can be easily crushed and consume less electricity, this process costs less than the first one. Furthermore, the charcoal is easy to be formed, no need big pressure, so the technology is simple and operators can master the technology well. So the total investment is less than the first one.

However, due to the different procedures of the two processes, the way they squeeze molecular bonding is also different, the traditional technology (first forming-then carbonizing ) works by high temperature and pressure extrusion of lignin melt combination, and the second technology (carbonizing first-briquetting second)must add adhesive for molding.

Due to adding some adhesives, so the ash content of the second technology will be higher than the first technology, these binders or adhesives are mainly tapioca, lignin or other chemical components, the de-ashing and burning effect will not as good as that of the first technology.

So, whatever the investors choose, it depends on the target market requirements. To be short, the quality of the traditional making charcoal technology is better than the second technology(carbonizing first-briquette second), but the price of the second one is much lower than the former, so long as the market can accept it, they are good products.

Coal briquette machine promotes the rapid rise of the profits in the coal industry

Coal briquette machine promotes the rapid rise of the profits in the coal industry. Entering the winter, the coal profit has got a big rise rapidly, which shows that the coal in China energy dominant position will not change. As the new requirements of clean coal has always been put forward, coal briquette machine as a coal deep processing equipment, has a unique good effect to clean coal use. Coal briquette machine can make our country's coal industry recovery.

Briquette machine is a ball making equipment. Through the pre-press device, it can send the coal materials to the roller pressure area. Under the pressure of the roller pressure zone, the coal powders are molded and pressed into finished coal balls, we call that coal briquettes, which are applied to Industrial gas, boiler, cold-pressing type coke, ignition coal, civilian coal briquette, civil metallurgy, refractory, medicine and other various molding.

Briquette machine workflow: Screw feeding device driven by the electromagnetic speed motor, through the pulley, worm reducer rotation, the materials will be pressed into the main forced feed port. Due to the constant torque characteristics of the electromagnetic speed regulating motor, the mass of the materials can be kept constant with a constant feed pressure when the screw feeding amount of the screw feeder is equal to the amount of material required by the host machine. If the feed is too large, then the feed device is overloaded; if the feed is too small, the materials can not be formed well. Therefore, the skilled operation is the guarantee that will ensure the smooth operation of briquette machine.

The products—coal briquettes molded by briquette products, after drying or drying naturally under the sun, can be for civilian heating use in winter or industrial use. Most importantly, no matter of the appearance or the intrinsic quality, the coal briquettes shows the strong advanced nature. According to the test, the clean coal briquette can save 20% -30% of the amount of coal, reduce 80% -90% of black smoke and reduce the emission of particulate matter by 70% -90%, and reduce Sulfur dioxide emissions 40% -60%. Compared with clean coal with good environmental performance, blue carbons have lower PM2.5 emissions by 75% -90% and PAHs by 80% -97% lower.

In particular, some coal mines with problems of safety and environmental protection have been cut off and supplies have been reduced. In addition, due to the growth of national electricity demand and the tight supply of coal in the short term, coal prices have risen. This will promote the production of clean energy and promote the use of real power to make coal for energy production for industrial support.
